Bitcoin continued to enjoy a significant rally on Wednesday, exceeding $63,000 for the first time since November 2021. Bloomberg says the demand from ETFs is triggering the Bullish run. The leading cryptocurrency’s value was last observed to have increased by 7%, reaching $61,064.20, as per the data provided by Coin Metrics. At one point, it even touched $61,359.00. The digital coin is currently just shy of its highest-ever record of $68,982.20.

As the record peak is now quite visible, market motivation has increased toward seeing this level challenged again. Powering Up Aba: The Geometric Power Plant and a Brighter Future for Businesses

A 188-megawatt (MW) power plant, Geometric Power Plant, has been commissioned in Aba, Abia State. The story of the Geometric Power Plant began in 2003, when Professor Bart Nnaji, a former Minister of Power, initiated the project. The vision was to address the chronic power shortage in Aba and its surrounding areas.

The power plant is estimated to have been built at a cost of $800 million and it includes the construction of a 27-kilometre natural gas pipeline, from Owaza in Ukwa West LGA in Abia to the Osisioma industrial layout in Aba.

To comprehend the scale of this project, consider that a 188MW power plant operating continuously should produce approximately 135,360,000 kWh of electricity each month. If we take an average household consumption of around 500 kWh, this capacity has the potential to influence approximately 270,720 households...…..continue reading

Toncoin to be used in Telegram’s upcoming ad revenue sharing initiative starting next month

Telegram’s CEO and founder, Pavel Durov, unveiled the company’s plans to introduce its advertising platform next month. This development will permit channel owners to receive financial earnings through toncoin on the TON blockchain. The company will begin to disburse 50% of all revenue obtained from ads shown in respective channels to the owners.

Telegram channels enable users to disseminate public messages to extensive audiences. In spite of Telegram channels amassing one trillion views each month, only 10% of that viewership is monetized via Telegram Ads, the firm’s promotional instrument, according to Durov.
