Leadway Holdings announces acquisition of PAL Pensions

Leadway Holdings Limited has announced the acquisition of 100% equity in Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL) from FSDH Holding Company and Africa Alliance Insurance, marking a major consolidation in Nigeria’s pension industry. PAL, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and crossed ₦1 trillion in Assets Under Management (AUM), will be integrated with Leadway Pensure to create one of Nigeria’s largest and most resilient Pension Fund Administrators.

Leadway’s Group MD, Tunde Hassan-Odukale, described the deal as a reaffirmation of the company’s commitment to scale, resilience, and inclusivity in the pension sector. FSDH’s Segun Odusanya and PAL MD Sa’adu Jijji praised the strategic move and seamless transition. MultiChoice Cuts DStv Prices in Ghana After Pressure

After weeks of pressure, MultiChoice Ghana has finally agreed to cut DStv subscription prices. The move came after the government threatened to suspend its license if prices weren’t reduced, pointing out that Ghanaians were paying almost triple what subscribers in Nigeria pay.

MultiChoice pushed back at first, warning that cuts would hurt jobs and service quality, but the standoff ended with regulators and consumer voices winning. MTN opens talks with Telkom over potential acquisition deal
