If PMP certification has been on your “I’ll get to it later” list, this is the moment to move it to the top. PMI’s decision to change the PMP exam in July 2026 quietly creates a closing window, one that favors candidates who act early rather than wait it out. Right now, the exam is still based on a familiar, well-mapped syllabus with abundant study materials, predictable domains, and a clearer preparation path. That certainty disappears once the new exam structure kicks in.

For working professionals balancing jobs, projects, and personal commitments, timing matters as much as motivation. Sitting for the PMP before July 2026 means less guesswork, fewer unknowns, and a faster route to a globally respected credential. It is not about rushing, it is about being strategic. If career progression, leadership roles, or stronger project credentials are part of your 2026 goals, this window gives you an advantage that will not be available much longer. “You said 2026 is your year”, so why not make it the year you finally level up your CV with a PMP certification by enrolling here

NCC, CBN Set 30-Second Refund Rule for Failed Airtime and Data

Nigeria’s telecoms and financial regulators, the NCC and CBN, have introduced a new consumer protection framework requiring automatic refunds within 30 seconds for failed airtime and data transactions. The policy aims to end long-standing “debit without value” issues where banks and telecom operators previously shifted blame.

Under the directive, unresolved or pending transactions must be reversed within 24 hours, and customers must receive immediate SMS notifications confirming transaction status. To enforce compliance, the regulators have launched a central monitoring dashboard and a binding service-level agreement that clearly assigns responsibility and penalties for failures............….continue reading

17.5 million Instagram users hit by major data leak

A reported data breach has exposed the personal information of approximately 17.5 million Instagram users, according to cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes. The leaked data—now allegedly circulating on the dark web—includes usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, and other sensitive details. This exposure is believed to be linked to an Instagram API vulnerability from 2024 and is likely responsible for the recent surge in password reset notifications received by users.

Although Meta has not yet issued an official statement, Malwarebytes warns that the compromised data could be exploited for phishing, identity theft, or account takeovers. Users are strongly advised to secure their accounts by changing passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and reviewing logged-in devices to prevent unauthorized access.......….continue reading

💻DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

How Digital Systems Simplify Compliance Without Paperwork Overload

Digital compliance systems are replacing paper-heavy, manual processes that no longer scale in complex regulatory environments. Traditional approaches fail because they rely on memory, fragmented records, and disconnected teams, making missed inspections, incomplete documentation, and audit risks inevitable.

Modern digital platforms centralize compliance data by linking physical assets to searchable digital records through permanent identification tags, mobile inspection tools, and cloud-based documentation. Automation ensures inspections, certifications, and maintenance tasks are triggered on time, while analytics and sensors help predict issues before they become violations. These systems also verify staff qualifications, support multiple regulatory frameworks simultaneously, and generate audit-ready reports on demand..................….continue reading

YouTube Introduces Search Filter to Hide Shorts

YouTube is rolling out a new search filter that allows users to exclude Shorts from search results, making it easier to find traditional long-form videos such as tutorials, reviews, and interviews. The update addresses long-standing frustration from users and creators who felt Shorts were overwhelming search results and reducing the visibility of in-depth content.

The filter lets users choose between Shorts and standard videos after entering a search query and is being gradually deployed across mobile and desktop.................….continue reading
