👨🏻‍💻 Nigerian students to win laptops in Young Innovative Builders programme 

The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr ‘Bosun Tijani, has announced the launch of the Young Innovative Builders (YIB) programme for tertiary students to apply for a chance to win a laptop or tablet.

The YIB programme will showcase and reward innovative projects built by young Nigerians that align with the Ministry’s objectives to grow the digital economy. The top 48 projects in each state and the FCT will receive laptops while the next best 40 will receive tablets.

Early December, over 700,000 individuals will converge in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for the 28th edition of this UN climate conference, COP28. The conference will take place from the 30 November to 12 December 2023 at Expo City, Dubai.

Nigeria’s priorities for the Climate summit include securing funds for the implementation of Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan (ETP) launched in the previous conference.
