Sam Altman rejoins OpenAI as CEO

Wednesday morning began with OpenAI releasing a statement that it has reached an agreement in principle for Sam Altman to return as CEO with a new initial board of Bret Taylor (Chair), Larry Summers, and Adam D’Angelo.

This ended the chain of events that started on Friday last week when Sam Altman was dismissed from the company he co-founded.
